Boston Pizza Charity Golf Classic 2021

Seeking a dynamic, creative individual with a commitment to the promotions and events profession to join our highly successful and fast-paced events team on a 6-month contract.  

 

As our ideal candidate, you must be extremely agile and possess strong prioritization and organizational skills. Our world is exciting and fast-paced and deadlines and projects frequently intersect. Therefore, we are looking for a noteworthy Event Superstar with superb interpersonal and communications skills who displays the ability to multi-task and balance priorities. The successful applicant must be able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders as well as problem solve efficiently to identify issue resolution options when situations arise. 

 

We are looking for a self-starter with an excellent work ethic and strong attention to detail. To meld seamlessly into our energetic team, the successful applicant must be highly motivated and able to take charge of a situation when required. Along with flexible availability, the position requires an individual with: 

 

• One (1) to three (3) years-experience in an event coordination and executions, promotions, or a related marketing or project coordination-based position.  

• Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree in Event Coordination, Marketing or Commerce is an asset.  

• Proficient computing skills including excel, word, google drive 

• Knowledge and experience in Asana and Trello 

• A valid driver’s license 

 

The Role Entails:  

• Venue management (includes coordinating all pre, day of and post event venue logistics) 

• Administration and support (Meeting agenda, minutes, email communication, etc.) 

• Vendor and supplier acquisition, coordination and management 

• Development and ongoing updating of event Critical Paths 

• Site visits and client meetings, as needed 

• Developing event budgets 

• Day-of event management and leadership  

 

Terms of Employment:  

This is a contract position, starting with 10-20 hours a week working up to full-time hours in the new year. This position requires flexible availability to be present at various events and activities as required. This is an hourly position and compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.
